80s Prom Dress Jrs XS Vintage Strapless Black Lace Blue Satin Long Gown

Description: Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 DESCRIPTION This is a beautiful vintage prom dress from the 1980s. The bodice of the dress is made out of a shimmery black satin, and it is lined in black acetate. The bodice is strapless with flexible boning for support, and it is accented with blue sequins and black piping done in squiggly lines and a lace ruffle along the top of the dress. The dress has a fitted waist and a full skirt. The skirt is made out of three layers. The inner layer is black tulle netting; the middle layer is a shimmery blue satin; and the outer layer is black floral lace. The lace is gathered up in four places around the hem to reveal the blue satin, and each of these areas is accented with a blue satin bow. The dress closes with a zipper down the back. PLEASE NOTE: This dress was just a little too small for my mannequin, so in the photos, the zipper is not entirely up in the back. However, the zipper works just fine! SIZING There are no size tags on this item, but I believe it would best fit a Juniors size XS or a Misses size XXS. The actual measurements are as follows: Bust: 14.5" across, underarm to underarm (29" around. There are bust darts just below this that expand the bust slightly. For reference, my mannequin has a 32" bust, and this dress was a little too small for her.) Waist: 11.5" across (23" around) Hips: Full and roomy Length: 38" from the underarm to the hem Note: These are the actual measurements of the garment, so please leave yourself room for comfort of movement. All measurements were taken with the item laying flat. The flat measurements were doubled to give an approximate measurement around. CONDITION This dress is in very good condition for its age. I did notice a little bit of fading to the acetate lining of the bodice (see last picture for example), but this is a minor flaw that is not visible at all when the dress is worn!
