Description: DESCRIPTION FOR THIS ITEM/S:This came out of one of our 1977 Camaros. This will fit 70-81 Camaros, Firebirds, and Trans Ams. This is an open 10 bolt 8.5" rear end with 2.56 gears. This rear end spins real nice, all the gears look good. The housing is a little rusty but with a little sanding or wire wheeling, and some fresh paint on the housing, this will look nice. This does look like it has pretty new brakes, but I would recommend giving this a new brake job. This rear end measures about, 61-1/4" From where the wheels would sit (outside of drum to outside of drum) and from the inside of the backing plates its about 54-1/4", the spring perches measure about 42-1/4" from inside to inside and about 47-3/4" from outside to outside. Local pickup is always welcomed and FREE, or I can arrange to freight it out, probably around $150.00- $250.00? Depending how far you are from our shop.
