Description: Estate fresh rare mid-century industrial design Dazor M270 Floating Arm Magnifying Desk Lamp. Look at the pictures which will explain my description based on my observations and research. The base is very heavy and a change in their long time design and which I have only seen 2 exact sightings in research. The lighting elements appears to be either an excellent after market installation, or a new factory design. The finish is a matte gray. This may be factory or a wonderful later addition for the machine age feel. I own one of these from the 40's, and looking at the construction, I can see a few subtle differences which might have been made for more cost effecient mfg. The portion attached to the base could use minor tightening, but I leave that to the new owner if it is of concern. The light given by this bulb is softer on the eyes than the 3 bulbs in previous design. This unique industrial look and construction is why I used rare in title, something I rarely do. This will provide decades of use with industrial machine age design .
