These elegant, scallop-rimmed, ivory-toned earthenware, square profile salad plates are decorated with a rustic, covered bridge blanketed by new-fallen snow. The bottoms are labeled with a black, Johnson Bros Made in England trademark, 'The Friendly Village' pattern name and 'The Covered Bridge' designation. Note that plates with a different backstamp may have slightly different decorations and/or dimensions. Each plate measures approximately 7-5/8 inches wide. These plates are in EXCELLENT condition. The colors are rich, and the details are distinct. The finish is lustrous. There are no chips, cracks, crazing, breaks or repairs. Please note there are utensil marks in the wells of all plates.
