2x WW1 1910s 1920s USMC Marine Corps Military Wool Dress Pant Buckle Uniform Lot

Description: This is a lot of two pairs of WWI-era USMC sky-blue wool trousers, one pair from approximately the 1914-18 period, and the other pair from 1924-25. Both pairs have seen better days, but are still in great wearable condition for being over a century old. Both pairs are missing the stripe, and were likely modified to be used as non-military garments after enlistment. Clothing in the pre-WWII era was less readily available, so repairs and modifications were more common than replacing items altogether. The earlier pair of pants has been hemmed, as well as cinched in the back, reducing the waist size, which resulted in the buckle back being removed. You can still see the outline of where those components were on the middle of the back, below the waistband. Additionally, this earlier pair of pants has the quintessential embroidered motif on the side pockets, which further identifies their age. The later, 1924-25 pair of pants is obviously dated, and also features the gold-tone brass buttons which were used on these pants in the 20s and 30s. This pair has not been visibly modified, except for the removal of the stripe. Measurements: Modified Buckle Back - Waist: 27 in Inseam: 27 in Leg Opening: 8 in Front Rise: 12 in '1923-24' - Waist: 32 in Inseam: 30 in Leg Opening: 9 in Front Rise: 12.5 in Okay antique condition. The 1910s pair has had the side stripes removed, the back has been altered and cinched in to make the waist smaller, and the buckle has been removed. The 1920s pair is seemingly unaltered, but is in slightly worse condition. Both have damage appropriate for their age, with staining, fading, and small holes throughout. See photos for more details. Please note: no effort has been made to clean or restore these pants. Additionally, I have some (limited) of-the-era blue wool fabric that could be adapted to serve for repairs.
