Description: Two Vintage Wooden Dolls with Hair by Salvo, Made in USSRWonderful, rare finds. The dolls have hair and are crafted in the traditional folk art style of the Russian Federation. Male figure measures 3 3/4" tall and 1 1/8" across the base. The female figure measures 3 1/4" tall and 1 5/8" across the base. Both figures are in excellent condition with no missing or chipped paint, scratches, etc. Woman's hair is very fine so some has come loose of the small tie on her ponytail but can easily be smoothed down to look very nice. Great, unique addition to a collection. Sticker on the bottom of the woman figure reads "Salvo Made in USSR Art. 1353". The writing on the sticker on the bottom of the man figure has come of / unreadable. Check out my other auctions for additional USSR pieces along with many collectible items.
