Description: -Pair of porcelain pedestal mugs.-Maker is Royal Crown China. Royal Crown is a mark used by Arnart Creations (aka Arnart Imports).-The mugs were made in Japan, and are from the 1960s-80s--based on the style of the Royal Crown mark.-Pattern is called Greek Classic. The mug features a frieze of figures whose appearance evokes classical Greek life. -The frieze is a transfer, and the rest of the design is hand painted--including gold accents and a wide band of color around the pedestal foot.-I think the mugs have a Hollywood Regency vibe to them. They're a bit over the top, in a fun way.-Capacity is 8 ounces.-Mugs are 4.25 inches tall, and 2.75 inches in diameter.-Condition: Mugs are in great used, vintage condition. No chips, cracks, scratches, or crazing. What I see is basically very light shelf wear. The mugs seem to have been used and stored responsibly.-Mugs are very clean, and ready to use or display.
