The cross guard is 4.125”. The sword is marked TALABOT FS PARIS and has the proof mark R. The serial number is 676. Second is a 19th Century Caucasus Area (Russian, Georgia) Kindjal Short Sword. It is 21” long. The blade is 15” long and 2” wide. I can’t find a marker’s mark, but the blade is etched. Third is a French M 1831 Foot Artillery Short Sword (Glaive). It is 25” long. The blade is 19” long. The cross guard is 4.125”. The sword is marked with four initials J A N E and has the proof mark P. The serial number is 1237. The swords come with a handmade copper wall mount, in the shape of a shield. It is 24” by 15.25”. It is solid. The condition of the three swords is good. They are solid. Aesthetically, they show their age and use. A lot of tarnish, scratches and dings. The blade edges are nice. The Kindjal has a couple of small chips in the edge.
