"Oh, Kay!," Merrick's 88th Broadway production, is set in the Roaring 20's and centers on a group of bootleggers and high kickers. Angela Teek stars as Kay, the singing star of the Paradise Club, Harlem's hottest nightspot. Brian Mitchell co-stars as Jimmy, Kay's love interest, a Wall Street tycoon with 84 cases of bootlegged liquor hidden in his cellar. Also starring in the cast are Gregg Burge, Helmar Augustus Cooper, Stanley Wayne Mathis, Kevin Ramsey, Tamara Tunie Douquett, Alexander Barton, Mark Kenneth Smaltz and Kyme. "Oh, Kay!" has a book by Guy Bolton and P.G. Wodehouse, with a new adaptation by James Racheff. The new concept is by Dan Siretta. Settings are by Kenneth Foy, costumes by Theoni V.
