The special evening was sponsored by KJLH radio to promote Rebbie's first single "Centipede" (the song written and produced by her brother Michael), from Rebbie's debut album, "Centipede." Rebbie continued on an extensive nationwide promotional tour, singing "live-to-tracks" at dance clubs across the country. The "Centipede" promotional video gains acclaim for Rebbie, who is presented as a mythical seductress in a setting that combines exciting choreography and dazzling special effects.
