Kokopelli is a fertility deity, usually depicted as a humpbacked flute player (often with feathers or antenna-like protrusions on his head), who is venerated by some Native American cultures in the Southwestern United States. Like most fertility deities, Kokopelli presides over both childbirth and agriculture. In the hump on his back he carries the seeds of plants and flowers revealing him as symbol of Fertility. The music of the flute symbolizes warmth. A vintage signed Southwest pottery design to add to your art collection. Would display nicely on a shelf with other similar collectables. 1980’s Raku Style Studio Design Pottery With Kokopelli Design USA New Description 1980’s Raku Style Studio Design Pottery With Kokopelli Design USA New New Old Store Stock.
