Description: SHEETS ARE IN ORIGINAL ENVELOPE AND ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH LIGHT CORNER BUMPS. ENVELOPE HAS SOME SOILING AND WAS NOT OPENED NEATLY SO THERE IS LOSS TO THE FLAP. THE MAIN CATALOG HAS A SMALL LOWER RIGHT CORNER CREASE ON FRONT COVER AND A LARGE CREASE TO REAR COVER.. THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN A GREAT CATALOG FOR THOSE GOING TO THE ANNUAL RENNAISANCE FAIR (FAIRE) OR FESTIVAL IN THEIR AREAS. 1- OUTER ENVELOPE FOR "THE LUTE SHOP" IN WISCONSIN, WHICH WAS RUN BY WILLIAM & MARILYN DAUM. The envelope is stamped "January 1969" but the catalogs and such are dated 1968. 2- A SINGLE SIDED "BULLETIN" referring mostly to the "student lutes" that they had available and pricing and quality 3- WHAT APPEARS TO BE A 4-SIDED MUSICAL PROGRAM for "Lutenists & Singers" William & Marilyn Daum, very nicely printed on a quality paper that almost feels like parchment. I doubt it was an actual program because it has no date, but it could be that they did not change the program and this was the program proved at all shows 4- A FULL 20 PAGE (Including Wraps)CATALOG WITH A DECEMBER 1968 PRICE LIST SLIPPED IN. This is not just a standard sales catalog as the pages are descriptive in terms of 15th, 16th, 17th and mid 18th centuries, the music available with little stories about the Baroque versus Renaissance period, etc. - Information on how to choose a lute, viola da gamba or viol.- Makers whose instruments they sold, such as Raymond Passauro, Alexander Heinrich, Max & Kurt Hoyer, - Music available for purchase, including dates of creation and difficulty. Pages are 8.5" x 11" and are either folded, stapled together or single sheets This is unlikely to be something you find again.
