Description: This is a 1967 Gladys Knight and the Pips D. J. Copy promo - I Heard It Through the Grapevine - a 7" Vinyl 45 record in EXC condition.Actual item is shown, please see photos closely.Both sides are I Heard It Through the Grapevine.Physicaly in EXC- condition. Side with the small tear on the label has four very light scuffs, one about an inch and a half long, slightly harder. Other side has two very light scuffs, one about an inch long. Both sides have wear around the rim.It has been play tested and sounds great. Some pops and crackles in the fades are light, while occasional light background noise can be heard in the tracks. Sleeve has been replaced with a new generic white archival sleeve. It is well cleaned by hand with a vinyl cleaning solution and microfiber cloth, but NOT an ultrasonic bath. Note to grading scale: Mint - Covers and records that deserve the MINT grade must appear perfect, no cutouts, no rim wear, plastic completely intact all around (no tears) with little to no wear or discoloration. Near Mint - We will use NEAR MINT (or NM-) for an unsealed record, if it clearly is in great condition. No scuffs, no scratches to the playable surface. May have one or two very minor imperfections. The best we will often assign is the next lower grade - Excellent (EXC+, or EXC++). Excellent - (EXC+, or EXC++). Very few imperfections. It should play strong with no, to almost none, noticeable distracting sounds effects or interference with the music. Very Good Plus (VG+, or VG++). Physically in great condition with some minor scratches, or other defects that do not significantly affect play, like a few/several weak/slight paper scuffs, and/or hairlines. Some minor noticeable imperfections particularly allowed in fades, such as light snaps, pops, crackles. Very Good (Very Good VG, Very Good Minus, VG-). Noticeable imperfections (some scuffs, some scratches). Play should not have over-bearing snaps, pops, crackles, but these should have no skips on the huge majority of players. Good (G+, G) - We strive not to sell (and almost always do not sell) records graded less than a strong VG-, unless it is highly collectible, rare, or for some other reason is in great demand. These records will have noticeable and significant imperfections, and they will be described in the listing.
