1966 GREEN ARROW Card OPC Gum COMIC BOOK FOLDEES Topps #24 DC SUPER HEROES

Description: This fantastic card is one in a series of cards issued by the TOPPS Gum Co, in CANADA during 1966. The O-Pee-Chee Company of London Ontario produced these cards for Topps for the Canadian Market, hence the “T.G.C. Printed in Canada” in small print on each card. Each card features a center panel that features a DC Comics Super Hero with side panels that could be folded over to make “Funny” pictures. This card is #27 in the series and features the GREEN ARROW. The Card measures 4 ¾ inches by 2 ½ inches approximately . The card has been folded over and used and does have the fold creases and bends and other wear that come with that. I think it still displays very well. I have scanned the front and back of the card fairly large so you can determine the condition for yourself. This once of the best series for DC Comic Book Series with many of these heroes being features on a card for the First Time. THESE CARDS A MUCH HARDER TO FIND THAN THEIR COUNTERPARTS IN THE UNITED STATES Due to the lower population in Canada than in the US, print runs in Canada were much smaller compared with American Cards. Because of this the majority of all Canadian cards are far scarcer than card issued in the USA.
