Description: Western Electric advertised these sweet phones with the slogan: "It's Little. It's Lovely. It Lights." Not every girl wanted a pink Princess phone. Many liked the neutral beige that goes with everything. And you will like this one because it lights up beautifully and the light kit and transformer are all included. It is plug-n-play ready right out of the box. Rotary phones like this harken back to a day of simpler times, when we were not in a hurry all the time. This one works 100% on traditional land lines and on my personal VOIP cable line here in Texas. Do check with your phone provider, though, to ensure they support rotary dialing. Sound transmission both ways is excellent, and it rings nicely on incoming calls. The plastics are in excellent condition and have no chips or cracks. I am in my 4th decade of restoring phones. This is not one of those high-dollar restorations selling for well over $100 without a light. It is, rather, a nice rehab where everything was checked out and parts replaced if needed. It shows minimal use for a 60-year-old phone. Oh by the way, it got a brand new rubberized cork base pad to protect your finest furniture without slipping around like the old cracked rubber bases ended up doing.
