Description: 1960s Women's Elgin Manual Wind Watch This is a nice women's Elgin manual wind watch, made in the U.S.A. sometime in the 1960s. The 17 jewel grade 799 movement has been cleaned and oiled, and the watch is running well and keeping accurate time. The dial is the only thing that lets this watch down in the slightest. There appears to have been some water damage at some point as some of the white paint is missing in some places, and in other places there is discoloration. The 10k white R.G.P. (Rolled Gold Plate) case has been cleaned and polished and shows some surface scratches throughout. The unique aspect of this watch case are the lugs - they are yellow gold and both lugs have small diamonds mounted in them. A brand new acrylic crystal has been installed. The stainless steel expandable bracelet is in good condition - note the bracelet is on the smaller side, and will only fit a wrist up to about 7 inches. Overall, the watch is in very good condition and ready to wear! Please see pictures for more details, and feel free to ask any questions prior to purchase.
