Description: Vintage 1960s Dinky Toys Red No. 276 Airport Fire Tender Truck with flashing red roof light. These were manufactured in England by Meccano Ltd. between 1967-1969. It’s in amazing clean and excellent condition complete with a nice box and instructions including the original cardboard packaging ring that protects the water gun on the roof. Looks like it was made yesterday and not over 56 years ago, condition is exceptional. The only thing worth mentioning is tarnish on the front decorative metal bell but I’ve made no attempts to polish it in order to keep things in original as found and untampered with condition. Works great! There’s a clever rear axle cam switch that flashes the red roof light bulb on and off when the truck moves along. The new AAA battery used to test it will be removed for shipping and is included. One suggestion: once the battery is installed everything is fine but the light holder/battery assembly is a bit fiddly when removing or replacing the battery and should be handled with care.
