Description: This vintage 1940s summer dress is a beautiful addition to any wardrobe. It’s handmade of butter yellow cotton with shoulder straps that fasten by cleverly buttoning over the shoulders to the front bodice and a metal side zip. Both the neckline and the pockets have a fun pointed scallop edge. The adorable matching wide lapel jacket buttons at the waist to complete the look. It also has a wide front pleat and large hip pockets for convenience. Please check measurements as the fabric doesn’t have give. I would estimate this at a size XS-SM, depending on your measurements. There are a few loose stitches, a scratch mark on the front skirt, wear to the edges of the jacket lapels, and some stains at inner jacket collar, right dress bodice, and hem.
