Description: 1926 Paramount Pictures, Famous Players Lasky Corporation, Atlantic City, New Jersey Convention Badge And Ribbon. The convention was to promote their new movies and films to theatre owners, and demonstrating new ways and means for advertising them. Almost assuredly Paramount Pictures Movie Stars were in attendance signing autographs and posing for photos. The badge has a solid brass name-plate, with a printed silk ribbon hanging from it, with the brass hanger 2 1/2 inches by 3/4 inch in size, and the ribbon is dark blue with gold stamping, and approximately 5 1/4 inches long, by 2 3/8 inches wide, all in excellent condition. There are no holes, stains, tears, or other damage to the ribbon. A rare piece of Silent Movie era advertising.
