I strive to offer the finest industrial lighting on the planet......this vapor proof Westinghouse is among the rarest. Normally, the word character is used to describe flaws and patina...in this case, character refers to this light's personality, he's got attitude!! The original paint is amazingly well preserved, simply stunning. The body is a double thickness of aluminum, the outside painted and the inside, the reflector, shines like day-one. The tempered glass lens, encased in the cast-iron frame, opens easily for re-lamping. The threaded rods turn and swivel just as nice as can be, all threads turn easily, a well thought out system for easy access to the inside. Westinghouse was always innovative in their engineering and designs, they've earned a special place in my heart, nobody did it better. The asbestos gaskets have been removed and replaced with new non-asbestos gaskets. Measuring 15 inches in diameter and 15 inches to the top of the fitter...this beauty will fit almost anywhere. The down-rod shown is 12" and black. Also available in 3" or 6" in either galvanized or black. The total height, bottom to ceiling is 27 inches. The cast-iron Westinghouse swivel hanger, also sporting its original green paint, is the finishing touch........perfection. If you need more than one light, feel free to contact me for details.
