Description: 1920s Antique Spaulding Hard Vulcanized Fibre Steamer Wardrobe Trunk with functioning lock & key. The trunk has a rectangular shape, solid exterior pattern, with hard vulcanized finish fiber, brass fittings, latches, corners and studs with brass metal-plated handle finish and a leather handle material (see pics). This is an original travel trunk made in the United States and includes clothes rack with 10 wood hangers, & five varying size drawers with rose carved metal plated handle finish, removable briefcase and wardrobe load lock bar. All drawers and doors open and close with ease. The trunk shows marks, scuffs, and stains in the drawers, along with other signs of wear typical for its age.
