Description: This is a lovely survivor from 1911. The Princess by Tennyson is beautifully illustrated by Howard Chandler Christy.. though no pages are missing,the cover and spine are in poor condition. That said, there are at least 15 beautiful color illustrations that are of themselves a treasure. The color prints are in lovely condition, but some past owner "enhanced" the black and white sketches with red color rendering them of no value. The text incomplete in this large book including the the familiar poem Sweet and Low(see photo).
