Description: 1896-S Barber Quarter in fine or a tough better condition. Solid coin for the grade. Third rarest coin of the series. Looking at some slabbed ones the details on the face and headband are better one this coin than most of the fines I see slabbed. Liberty is all there a couple of the letters are weak. A couple of the stars show some detail. Nice jaw line with eye showing detail. The reverse has nice details on the shield and rims are pressed well with definition. Asking 500 less than PCGS says is retail. Wholesale is 2300 in 15 and 1900 in 12. Coin has probably been cleaned at some point and is retoning nicely. Since postage went up again anything over a hundred goes priority now. for the extra buck and and a half just makes sense and it gets to you a hole lot faster. I do combine shipping, if I forget to do it up front I can always send you a refund. Don't be bashful to remind me. Always buying coins. Singles to entire collections. Trade, swap, consignment.
