Writing is not excessive. Some damage, top and bottom, where the paper attaches the front and rear covers to the book. The cover has some edgeware and some scrapes and spots on it, as well as a bit of sticker residue on the front cover. Some foxing and yellowing due to age, and a couple pages have either foxing or stains-hard to tell which due to the age of the book, but probably stains, as it's around a page where there's writing in pencil, and it seems like that that might have been a favorite recipe. Some stains on exterior pages.
