A collection of writings from British and foreign naturalists, including works on: the history of the earth, evolution, carnivorous animals, and animals of the monkey kind. Written and collected by Oliver Goldsmith. CONDITION In the original half calf binding with marbled boards. Externally, smart with rubbing and light bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Pages 41 to 44 of volume one have had cuttings taken.
