Description: Very unusual property related document relating to The Duke of Northumberland dated 1839 - Clauses and Inserts to property details, hand written on tissue thin paper with references to the Duke. The Duke of Northumberland's seat is still Alnwick Castle - where the Harry Potter films were filmed. The Duke of Northumberland (in 1839) was George Percy, the fifth Duke, also known as the Earl of Beverley. He was a Tory politician who was born in 1778 and died in 1867. He served as Catpain of the Yeoman of the Guard under British Prime Minister Sir Robert Peel between 1842 and 1846. This document, with its additioinal two large pages of hand written content on tissue thin paper measures 16" x 13" when folded out (40 cm x 32 cm). Folded as originally issued and still in good / very good condition - see photos. This is a unique document relating to The Duke of Northumberland since it is entirely hand written.
