Click for All Listings in The Brazil Collection An Authetic Antique Print: Not a Modern Reproduction Free Shipping on 5 or more Maps and Prints Description: It is an authentic copper engraved print on paper over 270 years old. It is from Abbe Prevost's Histoire generale des voyages, ou nouvelle collection de toutes derelation de voyages..., published in Paris by Didot in 1746. The print is generally attributed to Jocob van de Schely (1715-1779). Overall, a nice grouping of botanical images that would frame up well with a desirable antique appearance. Size: The print image between the neat lines measures approximately 7 1/4 by 10 3/4 inches (18x27cm) on a 8 1/2 by 11 1/4" (21x28cm) page. Condition: It is in Good to Very Good condition for its age, blank on reverse with the plate marks visible in the margins and a centerfold as issued. A soft crease on one corner in margin and a couple of light brown spots, otherwise it is a nice strong image that would frame up well, see the pics for more on condition.
