Description: A delightful Victorian Pendant / Brooch. This is a beautifully crafted pendant or Brooch. The bail is removable to be adorned as a brooch or left to adorn as a pendant. The bail features tiny little seed pearls. The bail suspends the body. There is a shell motif at the top with various sized pearls. The shell is followed with a ribbon of milgrain set rubies. The center of this piece features a carved intaglio of Hermes in a gold bezel settings. The intaglio is carved rootbeer glass. Surrounding Hermes is a lovely delicate array of seed pearls that surround the center like ivy. Just under Hermes is a square cut ruby in a gold bezel followed by two rose cut diamonds also in gold. At the bottom right and left of this pendant are two buttercup set blue sapphires., followed by a fleur de lis and a dangle pearl. The back features a fold over bail holder. A fold over C clasp and a straight pin. There are no hallmarkes to be found, but the tests as natural stones as well as 14K and sterling silver.
