Description: VTG 12K Rose Gold Modernist Alexandrite Color Change Lab Created Ring Sz 6.5 This LARGE GORGEOUS 17.1 mm lab created stone so closely simulates color changing natural Alexandrite that it fooled a long time professional jeweler! It has more colors than my phone camera can pick up. I simply can’t do it Justice. Its color transitions according to the ambient lighting. It mostly appears as amethyst by day and ruby by night! And, on occasions when the lighting is just right it’s a bluish-teal. It has brilliant flashes of all these colors as well!For example only, I have included a photo of a loose stone that displays a very similar bluish teal color as does the one listed here for sale. Please note that the loose stone in the picture is not for sale. This ring has recently been professionally cleaned and polished. There is one area on the gold surface which shows some faint surface scratches. I managed to take one photo where I held it just right to catch an image of the marks. Please keep in mind that these photos greatly magnify imperfections that are often not seen with the unaided eye. There is a Karat mark on the band that is partially worn away.
