If you have an issue where you can see the box was mistreated then you do have 60 days to put in a claim with USPS and we do carry insurance on each package in case of mishandling. For a claim you must have pictures of the box showing the damage and the shipping label. You also must keep the box as they may ask to see it. They will ask for an invoice to see the purchase price which you can get from your purchase here on Ebay.
